York Regional Police Academic Award April 16, 2003 This award was created in memory of Tom and is presented to the student(s) in each new recruit graduation class, who has achieved the highest academic standards. This is such a fitting award for Tom since he was a strong advocate of higher education and managed to obtain both his Bachelor of Arts and his law degree while he was a member of the York Regional Police Services.
